Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) has issued a public alert regarding entities misrepresenting their involvement in the city’s blockchain-based real estate tokenization initiative. The pilot, launched on March 19 by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), is strictly limited to pre-approved participants.

VARA emphasized that no unauthorized firms are permitted to promote association with the project. Violations may constitute breaches of the emirate’s virtual asset laws. The regulator’s statement comes amid reports of multiple organizations improperly suggesting participation in the high-profile property title deed digitization scheme.
